"Red Scare," which Sam wrote, produced, and starred in won the Silver Ace Award for Best Feature Film at the 2012 Las Vegas Film Festival, the Gold Kahuna Award for Best Feature Film at the 2012 Honolulu Film Awards, and Honorable Mention for Best Feature Film at the 2012 Mockfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. "Devil You Know," which Sam directed, won Best Local Film at the 2015 Golden Door International Film Festival and 2nd Place Best Horror Comedy Short at the 2015 Horror Hotel Festival."Cabin of Errors," which Sam produced and starred in, won Best Feature Film at the Laugh or Die Comedy Fest in 2017. In addition to his film credits, Sam has also appeared Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway in a number of plays.
