Ray Santiago is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent. Originally from Nyc and a LaGuardia Highschool For The Performing Arts graduate, Ray was raised in the south Bronx where he began his career in early 2000's. In 2004 he acted in films like "Girlfight" and "Meet The Fockers", but fame came in 2015, when Santiago got a life changing lead role in "Ash vs. the evil dead". In the last years, Ray has acted in films and TV-Series.

Early on Ray couldn't be any further from an acting career , joining the Royal Navy and qualifying as a elite special forces Clearance Diver , he served in both Northern Ireland and the Falklands war , where he was part of an elite team of deep saturation divers to recover top secret and sensitive information from the recently sunken destroyer HMS Coventry. Personally, strapping explosives to the armed, not launched SeaDart missile rendering the missile safe. He then left for the oil and gas industry of Aberdeen and was soon an efficient part of the deep diving saturation team on the DSV Stadive . Ray decided to leave the oil industry and return to Australia , where he had spent his childhood from 5 to 12 years of age growing up , and found the love of the ocean. After the death of his mother , he went in search of life's answers to its meaning and found himself at the Brisbane school of philosophy , his spirit of philosophical inquiry was sparked as a student and after 11 years became a tutor, the school ethos was you are only limited by your ideas of who you think you are , and with that in mind , Ray tentatively volunteered for a Shakespeare production of "Loves, Labor's Lost " playing Costard , and Bottom in " A Midsummer Nights Dream " plus other stage plays. Eventually finding himself in front of a camera as the lead in Qpix production of " Through Different Eyes " which went on to screen at the New York Independent Film Festival He is proud to have been principle cast in feature films "Road", "Ryder Country" , "Sleeper " "Sharkmen "In 2018 Ray played role of Henry Dangar in the feature 'Myall Creek" period drama set in 1848, regarding the abhorrent massacre of aboriginals. He has starred and been involved with over 50 short films , music videos , feature films, television commercials , presentations ,and interviews A dedicated hardworking, nice guy who mainly plays his alter ego. Ray in 2022 completed a Bachelor of Journalism at Queensland University of Technology.
