Philip Spartis was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa. After college he moved to Greenwich Village. He worked in Finance by day and took theater classes in the evening. He then moved to Atlanta and continued his very successful career in Finance. After becoming a whistle blower in one if the largest scandals in Wall Street History, he returned to NYC. He worked for his attorney by day and studied Musical Theater and Acting in the evening. Philip has had the honor of studying Acting at the Strasberg Institute of Theater in Manhattan under Lola Cohen and Ted Jarkowsky. He Studied Musical Theater at Broadway Dance Center under Andy Blankenbuehler ( Hamilton) Josh Bergashe ( Smash) and Brian Thomas ( Liza Minelli) for 10 years. Philip was featured in the Emmy award winning Frontline documentary "The Wall Street Fix , " and "Horror Hotel" which he won "Southern Shorts Acting Award of Merit ." He worked in all 3 Seasons of "Stranger Things" and was featured in The Revivalists music video "Wish I Knew You" with 75 million views. Philip can be seen in the upcoming Netflix film "Cancer" due out in 2020 and Apple TV+ series "Dear...".

Philip was born and raised in Odense, Denmark. His passion for film took a leap when he began working in a cinema at age 15. Here he befriended the projectionists who were film buffs themselves, and would periodically lend Philip massive stacks of DVDs as he devoured film history one genre, director, or period at a time. After High School Philip spend a few years traveling, before he moved to Ebeltoft to complete the 8,5 months course at the European Film College. Following this Philip studied English Literature and History at the University of Copenhagen for a year, whilst making short films in his spare time. In 2013 Philip was accepted into the prestigious Arts University of Bournemouth. He graduated from AUB in 2016 with a BA in directing, and subsequently moved to London. In the summer of 2016 Philip founded Squid Flick with his partner Celina. This film/photography company enjoyed an impressive start, collaborating with clients like Bring Dialog, Talking Tables, and the Danish Hip Hop artist Kasper Spez. Philip started studying a Master's Degree in Producing at the MET Film School in October 2016.
