A native of Chicago, Pete Kasper began his acting career at a young age when he hit the stage in the role of 'Fagan' in Lionel Barts "Oliver." He was also studying music, playing piano, French horn, trombone, trumpet and singing, but it was the theatre that was his calling. Through his teen and early adult years he built a large resume of stage work performing in productions of George M. Cohan's "The Tavern," Kaufman and Hart's "You Can't Take It With You," as 'Tony' in "West Side Story" and 'Kenickie' in "Grease." He even sang in the barbershop quartet in "The Music Man." Pete went on to study theatre at Illinois State University where he received his BFA. After graduating, he returned to Chicago where he continued not only performing in theater but producing and directing as well. He signed with the Shirley Hamilton Agency (S.H.A.) in Chicago and was soon appearing in national commercials for Budweiser, Miller Lite and American Airlines. In 1993, Pete left Chicago for Los Angeles where he continues to work in Film and Television. He has had several guest-starring roles on the TV shows "Gideon's Crossing," "ER," "Lucky" and "C.S.I. Miami" as well as featured roles in the films "Volcano" (20th Century Fox), "Mysterious Skin" (Anecdote Films), "Dragon Wars" (Sony Pictures), "Underclassman" (Miramax) and "Four Senses" (Metropole Films).
