Penn Badgley
Penn Badgley was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to Lynne Murphy Badgley and Duff Badgley, who worked as a newspaper reporter and carpenter. Badgley split his childhood years between Richmond, Virginia. and Seattle, Washington. In Seattle, he was involved in the Seattle Children's Theater and did voice-overs for a children's radio station. It was through these experiences that Badgley discovered his love of acting. This passion brought him one summer to Hollywood, where he landed an agent and his first big break guest-starring on Will & Grace (1998). After relocating with his mother to Los Angeles, Badgley secured several recurring roles on The Young and the Restless (1973), The Brothers Garcia (2000), and Daddio (2000). Badgley lives in New York City. At the age of 14, Penn completed his California High School Proficiency Exam and began attending Santa Monica City College. Also musically gifted, he enjoys singing, writing, and playing the guitar. In his spare time, Badgley likes to go skateboarding, surfing, skiing and snowboarding.

Pennan's 7th musical release, 2 Below 0, accompanies the film of the same name which Pennan wrote & acted. His 6th album, Gravity-The Astronot, is a sequel soundtrack to the The Astronot Soundtrack and features 8 songs of the accompanying feature film The Astronot, which Pennan wrote, co-produced, and acted in. The album was recorded at Blue Light Studio in Vancouver with Producer Kaj Falch-Nielsen, with additional sessions taking place in Los Angeles with renowned drummer Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Duran Duran, Eric Clapton) and INXS bassist Garry Gary Beers. "Hearing Steve Ferrone lay down the drums and Garry Gary Beers adding bass on 'Walk with Me' and 'Crashland' is the highlight of my career," says Pennan. Composer & producer Eric Alexandrakis (Like A Puppet Show) served as a mentor and one of the producers on The Astronot, and it was he who brought in Steve and Garry. Producers Kirk Kelsey (Creed) & Grammy-nominated Eric Alexandrakis joined the crew, working with Brae to make magic on the mixes, which include several instruments Brae has never used before - violin, cello, mandolin, pedal steel guitar, and banjo. "Kirk & Eric have such a wonderful touch and sensitivity on the tracks. His mixes gave the album a cinematic feel," says Pennan. Both albums were mastered by Grammy Award winning engineer Sean Magee (The Beatles Remasters, Pink Floyd, U2) at Abbey Road Studios. Pennan followed the 2018 release of The Astronot with 2 Below 0 (2019), a feature film he wrote & filmed with director Tim Cash of Far From Earth Films. Filmed during the biggest snowstorm in over a century in Central Oregon, the dark comedy unfolds along the Canadian / USA border in the Winter of 1979. Later in the Fall of 2019, the pair released, Strut-1980s, a music video with a creative twist & lead single off Gravity-The Astronot.
