Pauline Moore
Pauline began as a model, appearing on the covers of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, McCall's and Ladies Home Journal. She was married to Jefferson Machamer, a cartoonist, from 1934 until his death in 1960. In 1962, she married minister Dodd Watkins, who died in 1972. She has three children: Wendy, Tom, and Laurie.

Originally from Cork, Ireland Pauline trained at the Herbert Berghoff Studio in New York, completing a full-time 3 year Performing Arts Course and studying directly with both Uta Hagen author of "Respect for Acting" and "A Challenge To The Actor" and Alice Spivak author of "How to Rehearse When There is No Rehearsal". She also has Double Honours Gold Medals and an ALAM Diploma from LAMDA, London. She is one of the original exponents of Tom Kibbe's Modern Realism acting technique. She began training with him in 2015 and continues to train with him on an ongoing basis. Other recent screen roles include: the chatty gushingly proud mum of the inventor of sliced bread in the comedy short SLICES, a protective, determined abuse survivor in SELLING SILENCE, a manipulative, commanding, aristocratic matriarch in period drama STACCATO and a feisty, witty, loving mum in BLACKOUT. Pauline has also been in a number of TV Commercials for Bord Bia ("swiping right" mum in Plenty More Fish) Aer Lingus (Multi - tasking VIP Lounge Businesswoman), Toyota (patient mum of learner driver) Bord Gais (silencing look mum of newly engaged couple). Pauline has also had an extensive theatrical career. She is the co- writer and performer of solo play SEVEN AGES OF MAM which was Nominated for Best New play at Brighton Fringe 2019 and garnered a "Must See Show" rating from FringeReview. http://fringereview.co.uk/review/brighton-fringe/2019/the-seven-ages-of-mam/ before going on to tour in Ireland in 2021/2022. Pauline has worked with actors and directors such as Gretta Scacchi, Graham McTavish, Wendy Craig, Phillip Zarrilli, Michael Hunt, Caroline John, Michael Glen Murphy, Paul Cawley, Elisabeth Dermot-Walsh, Maria Aitken, Gwenda Hughes, William Galinsky, Nona Shepard, Pat Talbot and John Adams in numerous theatrical productions including THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE, LOVE ME SLENDER, LOVERS and EASY VIRTUE in the UK. After 18 years abroad Pauline returned home to Ireland in 2005 and took a career break. Since her return to the industry selected theatre credits include: - the solo plays SEVEN AGES OF MAM and YOU HAVE IT ALL BACKWARDS; the Kaite O'Reilly penned COSY directed by Phillip Zarrilli ; Galway Town Hall Theatre's production of A DOLL'S HOUSE opposite Ger Ryan and Gerry O'Brien, Clinic Media's LIFE BEHIND THE VENUE; GOLDFISH IN THE SUN directed by Pat Talbot at The Everyman; as Gaeilge production DORCHADAS DRAÍOCHTA for Graffiti Theatre Company and WALLPAPER and DEAR SISTER ANNE, in which her portrayal of the illiterate Paula won her a Best Actress award.

She was a founding member of the San Francisco Tape Music Center in the 1960s, and served as its Director.
