Neil was born in Middlesborough and began acting with the Middlesborough Little Theatre's Junior Theatre where his first leading role was in 'Santa Clause the Musical' .He was educated at Nunthorpe school where his drama teacher encouraged him to train at the Stockton and Billingham College. He went on to Middlesborough University graduating with a drama degree then the National Theatre Studio at the Sheffield Crucible before signing up for the television serial 'Ctossroads'

Neil Green was born in Longview Washington and has lived in the PNW his entire life. He discovered acting later than most, when he appeared in Portlandia (2016) as a background actor. Neil fell in love with being on set, although it was everything going on behind the camera that first pulled him in.
