Lisa Roumain was born in Puerto Rico with Italian, Haitian and Scottish roots. Her father is a Civil Engineer, her Mother a Teacher, and she is the eldest of 3. She grew up in Parkland, FL and fell in love with dancing, painting, writing, & drawing, and studied Interior Architecture, receiving a Bachelor's of Design from the University of Florida. But after a few years of working as a Designer, she decided to pursue her dream of being an Actress and began modeling and studying acting in Miami. With much gratitude, Lisa has done steady work in commercials, print and film. She landed her first role on "Jersey Girl," and went on to appear in independent films like "Go For It!" and in 2007, she began an incredible 2 year journey on a top secret, unnamed film project which became the experience of a lifetime; James Cameron's "Avatar." Lisa was part of the exclusive, Performance Capture Troupe, using her versatility to play multiple characters daily and becoming a part of movie making history on this ground-breaking film. Lisa is passionate about healthy cooking, home renovation, her Architect/Tri-Athlete husband Greg, & two hilarious young daughters. One is a Singer/actress, and the youngest aspires to be a Doctor/ballerina. Rounding out the family are a 120 pound Great Pyrenees named Moby, and a kitty named Eloise at the Plaza.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Lisa Ryder started performing as a child through dance, attending the Edmonton Studio of Ballet. She never considered acting as a career until she attended the University of Toronto. There she took Drama as an option and was bitten by the acting bug. After graduation, she and some friends formed "Bald Ego Productions", a local Toronto theatre group. While with "Bald Ego", Lisa displayed a multitude of talents, choreographing, writing, and co-writing many of stage shows. In the mid-nineties, Lisa began appearing on television with guest spots on shows like Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1993) and PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal (1996). Her first "big" role came in the form a straight-laced cop named "Tracy Vetter" on the sci-fi/drama show Forever Knight (1992). "Forever Knight" allowed Lisa to build a cult following on the Internet that continued to grow, even after the show was canceled. After "Forever Knight", Lisa continued acting on stage, television and film. She had a variety of guest spots on many science fiction shows, but also appeared on the critically acclaimed CBC series The Newsroom (1996). In 1998, she received critical acclaim herself for her portrayal of "Joey" in the film Stolen Heart (1998). Currently, Lisa co-stars with Kevin Sorbo on the Gene Roddenberry series Andromeda (2000), showing every week in syndication, around the world.
Lisa Sain Odom grew up in the small town of Landrum, SC, but she always had big dreams. She loved performing from the time she was small and took every opportunity to act and sing on stage. In college she studied singing, earning Bachelor's, Master's and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Vocal Performance. She spent time performing in concerts, operas and musicals throughout the Southeast and also in Europe, while embarking on a career as a university music professor. Along the way, she discovered the world of film acting and began a career that has included work in independent films, commercials, industrials, television and voice over. Now she enjoys a multifaceted career that allows her to act, sing, and teach. When not engaged in artistic pursuits, Lisa enjoys spending entire days at home in her pjs watching movies with the family and avoiding cooking.
