Louis Anthony Colello
American actor Louis Anthony Colello was born on August 19,1971 in New Haven, Connecticut to Joseph Rocco Colello, Sr. and Martha Marie Colello. The youngest of three boys, Louis grew up with his brothers, Joseph Rocco Colello Jr. and Mark Vincent Colello, and together they worked with their father in the family's construction business. During his high school years at Hamden High School in Hamden, Connecticut, Louis took auto mechanics and carpentry classes, but it was really his acting and theater classes that interested him. In 1990, Louis was invited to appear in a sports commercial and he accepted the offer. After seeing himself on TV is when Louis became hooked! However, he needed to earn a steady income, so he took the Law Enforcement Exam and soon found himself in the academy to becoming a law enforcement officer, where he graduated second in his class of over 100 cadets. After almost 20 years of service, Louis was forced to retire due to a back injury he suffered while on duty. Now in his early 40's Louis took some needed time to regroup and found himself inspired by a childhood friend and classmate, Dwayne Johnson ("The Rock") with his on-screen and off-screen "Bring It" attitude. Needless to say, Louis has come back to acting after 20+ years! Louis has one son, Louis Anthony Colello Jr.,who was born in 2001. Louis Arcella, was born in Colombia, and is the oldest brother of six siblings. After his father (half Colombian and half Italian) Guillermo Arcella died when he was five years old. His mother Miriam Morales (Colombian) moved to Bogota and started working over 12 hours a day as a cook, to take care of the family. Under these circumstances and without a little push to keep his education he dropped school before the end of Elementary school. Louis grew up in the streets of Bogota through a long period of poverty and need trying to earn some extra money shining shoes, selling candy, bubble gums, news papers and sometimes singing in buses. Regardless of this hardship, he was always a happy extrovert who loved with passion to sing and make people laugh (not always at the right moment). This incurable behavior made him earn easy the nickname as "the loco". He used to create characters an bring them to life. But the real call was at the age of 14 when he was asked to participate as an "extra" in a movie, while he was playing with other teens on the street. This event marked his life and made his desire for a serious career in acting the reason why he lives everyday for. After doing some work in Colombian Television, Louis realized that the real opportunity to make his dream come true wasn't in his country but in United States. Then, considering the possibilities for a low income person to get the U.S visa, he decided to find a job as a crew ship member in a cruise line. Louis landed in New York city after leaving the ship and looked for support at his relative's house in Queens. He applied to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute but he was denied because of his illegal condition at that time. After a couple of years in the U.S. he got his High School certification and also a degree in production form The School of Television Arts in New York. In 2001, Louis got finally accepted at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York. His teacher Lola Cohen and Mauricio Bustamante trained him during almost two years in the Method acting. But it wasn't until 2003 when his first role in the film "The Door in the Floor" with Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger opened an important door for his career. Louis's participation in the short film "Chavez" (2006) as Manuel Chavez brought him his first award as Best Actor in the Mexico International Film Festival in 2007. His role as Diego in the movie "Uncertainty" with Joseph Gordon-Levvit and Lynn Collins shaped his career to the following years. Louis participated as Ximeno in the movie "Paraiso Travel" (2008) and also as Morales in the movie "The Family" with Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones (2012) and as Victor Rivera in the movie "Our Brand Is Crisis" with Sandra Bullock,Billy Bob Thornton directed by David Gordon Green (2015). His experience in T.V. series such as NBC Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Boots on the Ground, 2010), The Blacklist (The Stewmaker, 2013), ABC Zero Hour (2012) and the opportunity to have larger roles in them, gave him the chance to develop more his characters. Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong grew up poor in a single-parent household. He was 13 when he celebrated the New Year by running out on the street and firing a pistol that belonged to the current man in his mother's life. At the Colored Waifs Home for Boys, he learned to play the bugle and the clarinet and joined the home's brass band. They played at socials, picnics and funerals for a small fee. At 18 he got a job in the Kid Ory Band in New Orleans. Four years later, in 1922, he went to Chicago, where he played second coronet in the Creole Jazz Band. He made his first recordings with that band in 1923. In 1929 Armstrong appeared on Broadway in "Hot Chocolates", in which he introduced Fats Waller's "Ain't Misbehavin', his first popular song hit. He made a tour of Europe in 1932. During a command performance for King George V, he forgot he had been told that performers were not to refer to members of the royal family while playing for them. Just before picking up his trumpet for a really hot number, he announced: "This one's for you, Rex."
