Born in Metairie, as Joseph William McRae, but raised in Kenner, Louisiana, and known to his family and friends as "Joey." In early 2000, Joseph began his acting career, where he started in commercials, then film in shorts and features. He is known for his work on NCIS: New Orleans (2014), URYDE (2018) and Rugaru (2012). However, he has the gambit of the entertainment industry of film, television, commercials, modeling, print, and theater. Married to his high school sweetheart, Ashlie, they have two children, a son, Ashton, and daughter, Lacie. Joseph attended Bonnabel High School then went on to study at Nicholls State University. He began a career in law enforcement where he was a patrolman, detective and eventually promoted in rank.
