Jorie started performing at the young age of 6 in a small community recreation center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. There she studied Drama and Ballet while her grandmother took knitting classes. Not too long after that her family moved to Florida, where she did not participate in any arts until age 13 when she became involved in Color Guard and Dance. In college, she began acting for fun while studying Fashion and Marketing at International Fine Arts College, but soon realized her love was in Entertainment. Jorie has worked in Miami and Los Angeles since 2002 in Casting, Wardrobe, and Marketing while pursuing her all her artistic career goals in Los Angeles. Apart from continuing her studies in acting she studied Broadcasting at Los Angeles Valley College as from 2014-2016 earning a certificate in Broadcasting Television. As of 2018, Jorie has taken more of an initiative to get back to her creative side by working more behind the scenes including co-producing the short "Luzy" where she played the title role of Luzy.
