A graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, Jordan has written and produced multiple award-winning films, television and new media that have screened at prestigious festivals such as TIFF, Whistler and Slamdance. Jordan has had the opportunity to collaborate with many film luminaries such as Academy Awarding winner Morgan Freeman, Golden Globe winner Francis Conroy, Emmy winner Vincent D'Onofrio and legendary director Lawrence Kasdan. Jordan's film credits include the comedy hit How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town (2015) which the LA Times called "Hilarious, with surprising heart". The film won Best Film at the Canadian Film Festival, Best Independent Film at The Edmonton Int'l Film Festival and had its US premiere at Slamdance 2016. Released on more than 100 Theatrical screens around the world, the film is available on multiple streaming services around the world. Jordan's latest film, James vs. His Future Self (2019), which can be seen on Crave in Canada and Amazon Prime in the US, stars Daniel Stern from Home Alone and was nominated for 4 Canadian Screen Awards including Best Screenplay and won 4 Prizes at Toronto After Dark. The film has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was selected for more than a dozen international film festivals. In addition to writing and producing, Jordan has been educating the next generation of filmmakers for the past 9 years and has had the pleasure of starting many successful careers with graduates he's mentored working on series such as The Boys, Star Trek: Discovery, and The Umbrella Academy.
Jordan is from Fort Worth, Texas and was born early with many health problems. He had 6 surgeries by the time he was 7 years old. He was diagnosed with Scoliosis at 2 years old and wore a brace 24 hours a day. When he was 7 years old his curve had progressed to over 90 degrees and he became the youngest person to undergo a full anterior and posterior spinal fusion. Jordan fell into acting in regional theatre at 6 years old in the role of Tiny Tim. He fell in love with acting, and because of all he had been through at such a young age he was more mature than most of his peers. His small stature was an advantage for him as well. He has since performed in over 40 professional theatrical productions in Texas and California, as well as several TV shows and films. In January of 2010 he received an Associates Degree in Film Acting at the Kim Dawson Conservatory in Dallas.
