French actor Frédéric Anscombre's first experience on stage was at the age of 14, playing in Molière's "L'Avare" at his high school in Saint Germain en Laye (a little town beside Paris' which saw the birth of Louis XIV). His first craft, however, was music: the saxophone and jazz in particular, which he discovered at age 11. This passion would lead him to the artistic direction of a record label. The following year he would move on to another Anglo-Saxon production, "Overdrive", directed by Antonio Negret and in which he would play opposite Scott Eastwood .
