Fraser is an award-winning creative producer and professional actor from Auckland, New Zealand.. Graduating Toi Whakaari - NZ Drama School in 2001 Fraser continues to work extensively in film, television and theatre featuring in some of New Zealand's most significant drama including "The Insiders Guide To Happiness", "Erebus: Operation Overdue", Lee Tamahori's "The Patriarch (Mahana)" and Leanne Pooley's "25 April." In 2014 Fraser had the lead role of WW1 conscious objector Archibald Baxter in the award-winning New Zealand tele-film "Field Punishment No 1." In 2017 Fraser starred, alongside fellow kiwi's Matt Whelan and Emmett Skilton, in the Amazon Prime original series "American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story." Fraser has produced award-winning commercial and short film content including Paolo Rotondo's internationally acclaimed "Dead Letters," which premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in 2006. His first feature film, "Orphans & Kingdoms", won numerous international awards including "Best Feature" at the Anchorage International Film Festival in 2015 and was released theatrically in New Zealand in 2016 with 4-star reviews and critical praise. He has produced two large scale theatrical feature documentaries: "McLaren", directed by Roger Donaldson ("The Worlds Fastest Indian"), was released globally in 2017 and tells the story of legendary New Zealander and founder of the McLaren Motor Racing company, Bruce McLaren. "Wayne," directed by Jeremy Sims ("Last Cab To Darwin") tells the epic underdog story of Wayne Gardner, Australia's first Moto-GP world champion and premiered at opening weekend of MIFF in 2018. Through his company, FB Pictures, Fraser has a slate of projects in various stages of development across a range of genre and media. The boutique production company specialises in high-end feature film, documentary and series TV for a global audience, utilising a strategic partnership with Australasian production company, General Film Corporation ("The Dead Lands.") Fraser also has a BCom in finance and marketing from the University of Otago and prior to focusing on film and television full-time was "Director of Brand & Communications" and then "Managing Director" for mineral water brand, Waiwera. Fraser helped develop Waiwera from a small start-up into a premium international water brand, winning awards for bottle design and taste around the world, before selling the company to offshore interests in 2010.
