Filmmaker Ethan Paisley (20 years old) has had a career on-and-off the screen that spans a decade. Hailing from the Bay Area originally, Paisley started as an actor in local theatre and independent film until he discovered his passion for filmmaking in high school. His debut film "The Art of Escape" won acclaim and received distribution; he launched Take18 Entertainment, a youth-led, philanthropic-focused production company that garnered over 30 awards for titles including "Point 453" and "Indelible". At 18 he began working for PaperChase Films ("Skin", "The Kindergarten Teacher") as a development producer. In 2020 he will be releasing his debut documentary "Gone Missing" about the correlation between Covid-19 and missing and murdered Indigenous people.
