David Laurence received his BFA from Colorado College where his studies in foreign film, theatre and method acting ignited a passion that would never leave him. Returning to Austin, David received a master's degree from the University of Texas where he embarked on an acting/ teaching career. Dave Lawrence is a Canadian actor, writer, director and producer. He was born and raised in Calgary where he trained in improvisation at The Loose Moose Theatre Company since the age of 15. It was there that he developed his 'banger character, 'Terry' inspiring the Sundance hit, Fubar. He has starred in several Canadian film and television productions, most notably opposite Leslie Nielsen in Doctor*ology and Tom Green in Freezer Burn. His writing collaborations with childhood friend Paul Spence yielded a book, Just Give'r, A Handguide By Terry and Dean, and several film projects including his directorial debut, Western Confidential. In October 2009, he teamed up once again with Paul Spence and Mike Dowse to make the sequel to Fubar. Dave Lawrence still performs improvised comedy at the Loose Moose on a regular basis.
