David L. Hunt is a feature film director, writer and editor. After creating the award-winning short film Jeremiah's Song, he secured the rights to a popular Internet media property and raised financing for his first feature film, Living Dark: The Story of Ted the Caver. Living Dark won awards at film festivals all over the world and sold to New Films International for release in 2016. Hunt next co-wrote, directed and edited Greater, starring Band of Brothers' Neal McDonough and Justified's Nick Searcy. Greater was released on screens nationwide in August 2016 to significant acclaim. Walmart called the home video release of Greater "a one-in-a-thousand" best-seller. Hunt next began writing the remake of Fred Zinneman's classic High Noon, which he will also direct. High Noon is set for theatrical release in 2022.
Actor/Singer/Host, Dave King, has captivated audiences in virtually every performance medium available - especially television. Dave has appeared in several hit television programs including Black-ish, NCIS, Grace and Frankie, Jane the Virgin, Criminal Minds and, most recently, a Hallmark Christmas. Dave also had contract roles on two soap operas. On All My Children, Dave was the heart-breaking Mike Gordon, the center of a love triangle between Mimi and Derek. On Another World, he was the tough-talking Chief of Detectives, Billy Cooper. In addition to national series television, Dave has also appeared in dozens of commercials, infomercials and well over a hundred voice-overs. Dave began his hosting career as an anchor on HBO Entertainment News and followed that with a stint as the host of Nine Broadcast Plaza on WWOR in New York. For 14 years, he was one of the top Program Hosts for QVC- the "go-to guy" for electronics, music or sports-oriented products and celebrities. In 2010, responding to hosting requests from consumer electronics companies like Samsung, Dave created the Dr. Cool Tech(TM) brand. As Dr Cool Tech, Dave funnels his passion for all things electronic into a showcase for products that, to some, may seem complicated, complex or dull. Dave makes them simple, easy to understand, and lots of fun! Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, where he played Free Safety for the legendary Joe Paterno.
David acted in his early teens, then returned to acting in his early 20's. He studied film making and philosophy and San Francisco State University in the late 70s, and studied acting at San Francisco State and at various acting schools in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 80's. He acted in small theaters in San Francisco in the 1980's last appearing at the Lorraine Hansberry theatre in San Francisco. David returned to acting in the SF Bay Area in 2009. He also took up photography and art which lead to his interest in designing prints for fashion and designing clothing with these prints. David has trained with Robert Weinapple and has appeared as an actor on stage and in TV, film, commercial and industrial productions in the Bay Area. He will now be available to act in productions in Los Angeles.
