David is a film and television director based in Vancouver, Canada and represented by Meridian Artists in Toronto. His movies screen regularly to audiences worldwide, including major television networks such as the Hallmark Channel (U.S.), Lifetime Television (U.S.), UPtv (U.S.), Channel 4 (U.K.), TF1 (France), and the W Network (Canada). David has directed several romantic comedies over the past three-years, including The Dating List (19), Just for the Summer (20), Love is a Piece of Cake (20), and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Original, A Glenbrooke Christmas (20). His most recent projects, Coyote Creek Christmas (21) and A Very Merry Bridesmaid (21), will premiere during Hallmark Channel's 2021 Countdown to Christmas. In addition to directing romantic comedies, David has directed the Lifetime thriller Killer Body (18), the independent feature film Delinquent (16), and various short form documentaries for The Knowledge Network and Telus Optik TV. In 2018, David was selected for the prestigious TIFF Filmmaker Lab, was a JETS participant at the 68th Berlinale, and was awarded the Telus STORYHIVE Banff Fellowship. His European co-production, The Omertà, was recently awarded development funding from Telefilm Canada and Bell Media's Harold Greenberg Fund. David studied Film Production at Vancouver Film School and holds two degrees from the University of British Columbia, where he studied both Law and Psychology.
David graduated from Laguardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts in the class of 2020, where his passion for the craft was explored and exercised. He hopes to one day use his acting experience to direct, write, and become more involved with the creation of art, in addition to continuing to pursue the art form in front of the camera.
