His parents divorced when he was very young so he spent time with his beautiful young mother in Austin Texas and also with his ruggedly handsome father in Pecos Texas on his father's horse ranch. This is where David learned about archery, firearms, equestrian sports, sword fighting, combative arts, driving cars, trucks, motorcycles, and many other adventurous activities. While attending school and on his summer breaks David worked as a ranch hand, breaking horses, herding cattle, fixing fences, hunting coyotes and badgers. David learned to ride, rope, and shoot cowboy style. He also bailed hay, picked cotton, onions, and cantaloupe alongside migrant workers who taught David some Spanish as they toiled. He decided to take a break from Security work and enlisted into the US Marines. He remained in a high threat combat related Military Occupational Specialty from 1995 to 2001. During his vacations and off time David would work as security in local bars and clubs, take stunt jobs, or teach firearms at various shooting ranges around the bases he was stationed at. While in the Marines David was sent to a Close Protection (Bodyguard) school in Colorado where he learned to drive and shoot as a professional Close Protection Specialist. David was assigned many unique and interesting missions while in the Marines and in 2000 he began to teach shooting and more at civilian shooting range in Nevada.Soon David found that his skills could get him on movie sets as a firearms trainer, armorer, stunt person, and more.However the film industry wasn't paying well enough so David began to look for work overseas. David soon found himself traveling the planet teaching military and police officers in third world countries. When back in the US David would hire himself out as a professional driver and Close Protection Specialist or work security in Las Vegas night clubs while looking for film related work. IN 2007 David began working in Asia, Afghanistan, and the middle east as a security consultant. By 2009 he had gotten exhausted from traveling for work and decided to settle in Thailand. He worked as a military trainer and firearms instructor while simultaneously working in the local film industry. David has written a Novel titled Demon By Knight as well as drawn and written several comic strips, comic books, and movie scripts that come from various parts of his life experiences. in 2012 David and 2 friends opened a security company Deimos Co. Ltd. that caters to the film industry and other high end clientele in Thailand. Deimos now provides a host of services through his company that include: military advising, firearms training, driver training, unarmed and armed guards, Close Protection, Armorers, and more.
