The youngest of five, David Arquette was born in Winchester, Virginia and is part of the illustrious Arquette family, whose work has spread over several generations. His parents, Lewis Arquette, an actor, and Brenda Denaut (née Nowak), an acting teacher and therapist, had 4 other children: Rosanna Arquette, Richmond Arquette, Patricia Arquette, and Alexis Arquette, all actors. His paternal grandfather, Cliff Arquette, was also an entertainer. David's mother was from an Ashkenazi Jewish family (from Poland and Russia), while David's father had French-Canadian, Swiss-German, and English ancestry. Like his siblings, Arquette started working at an early age, and his first major role came as Luke Perry's character's best friend in the hit film Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992). But his major break both personally and professionally didn't come until 1996 when he was cast in the slasher flick Scream (1996) starring opposite close friend Drew Barrymore, Neve Campbell and more importantly Friends (1994), with Courteney Cox who he married in San Francisco in the summer of 1999. Scream (1996) earned worldwide success and acclaim as did Arquette for his role as lovable simple cop "Dewey". His role proved to be so popular that in the original script his character was meant to die, but due to test audiences response to Dewey the script was changed and he returned for both Scream 2 (1997) and Scream 3 (2000). Usually known for his goofiness in more mainstream roles, his greatest performances and reviews have come for his indie films such as Johns (1996), Dream with the Fishes (1997) and The Grey Zone (2001). David and wife Courteney Cox reside in LA and produce their own DIY show Mix It Up (2003) because of their love for home improvement.

Confidence and Charisma. Two words that describe David Arquilla. Born David Thomas Arquilla on June 5, 1991 in Dayton, Ohio to Kathleen Ann Arquilla and Thomas Joseph Arquilla. His parents are of European descent, their nationalities include Italian, German, Irish, Bohemian, French and Polish. His mother, born in Winona, Minnesota, at the time of David's birth was a teacher for Dayton Public City Schools and taught children with learning disabilities. His father, a Chicago born man worked in hospital administration for a local hospital in Dayton. He has a sister named Kristen Lee Arquilla who is two years older than him. Growing up David enjoyed outdoor activities, sports in particular were his favorite. He enjoyed basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, football, track and more. At the age of 14 he discovered the thrill of weight training and fell in love. As a youth, David learned the value of hard work from his parents. He worked many jobs ranging from landscaping, home renovations and maintenance work. Throughout his youth and high school years one of David's favorite things was going to the movie theater and seeing the latest films. After graduating high school from Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School he attended Wright State University to pursue a degree in Business - Finance. During his college years David became involved in modeling for several regional fashion shows. He then began take acting classes at The Human Race Theater in Dayton, Ohio. After graduating Wright State in 2013 with a Finance degree. David had two very different paths to pursue: one was to work in corporate America where he could try to climb the ladder in business and finance and the other was pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, a passion he had since he was a teenager. He decided to make the obvious decision. With help from his cousin, Tricia Horst, who had success as a supermodel, actress and producer David packed his bags and drove to New York City with his father in his 1998 Honda Accord in late 2013 to start the next chapter of his life. In New York, David became involved in acting classes from renowned actor Marc John Jefferies. A class he learned about at a restaurant where he worked as a bartender. Arquilla went on to study with Marc more intensely in the subsequent years to continue to learn and fine tune his ability as an actor. In David's time in New York City he has worked with renown acting coaches like Anthony Abeson, Bob Krakower, Wendy Makkena, Devin Shacket and Dustin Felder. Arquilla began to gain experience in student films, comedy sketches, and work on camera and print commercials for clients including Verizon Wireless, Alakazam Apps, Reebok, Budweiser, Way of Wade and more. In 2016 Arquilla caught more momentum by booking a series regular role in a television pilot called The Wohs. A supernatural drama about the music industry which cast includes Joseph Sikora from the hit Starz TV Show Power. In addition, he also booked a Guest Star role on the crime reenactment television show Shadow of Doubt on the Investigation Discovery Network as well as a role on CONAN on TBS. Arquilla can be seen in the movie Swipe on Amazon Prime where co-leads as CIA secret agent Benjamin Keaton. He also booked a costar role on the Comedy Central hit sitcom The Other Two. He performs on stage in the national tour of the show Justice On Trial which is written by acclaimed director and producer Chad Lawson Cooper. Arquilla plays the Lead, as U.S. Attorney Hong in the high stakes court room drama.

He became interested in acting at the age of 12 while attending The Carroll School for dyslexic children.
