Born in Worcestershire, England, Claire Llewellyn, affectionately known as 'Fluff', first took an interest in acting and writing at an early age, writing lyrics, poetry and short stories. In her late teens/early twenties she fronted a local rock band as the lead vocalist/lyricist. At the age of thirty she moved to Illinois, led another rock band and expanded her creative pursuits beyond music. After signing up with a few Background Artists agencies, she landed extra work on some T.V. shows and feature films. Looking for more challenging roles, she discovered that she could incorporate her creative talents more within the Independent market and her love of horror films was a bonus. She became immersed in the Chicago Indie Horror scene as an assistant to a Gothic Illusionist and even did a brief stint as a co-host to a local horror host. Growing ever more enthusiastic for the whole film making process, she formed her own production company, 'Bloody Brit Productions', through which she is producing/writing/directing and starring in her own movies. Claire has also ventured into the film festival arena, running her own Indie Film Festival, 'Short Bus To Insanity Film Festival'. Its inaugural venture, in Sept. 2013, was a hit with the filmmakers. Delving more into writing during her downtime, she has self published two poetry books: 'LOVE is a KILLER' and 'RHYME & REASON: Facets of a Life', both available on Amazon. Claire 'Fluff' Llewellyn continues to grow as a genre actress/writer/poet and filmmaker. She also started broadening her horizons across the entertainment field by presenting the News for WHDT World News, which is broadcast nightly across Florida and Boston, and can be viewed online. She only held this position for just over one year, but new adventures await!
