Adam recently wrapped filming "Ford vs. Ferrari," starring Matt Damon and Christian Bale, a 20th Century Fox production directed by James Mangold, The true story of the battle between Ford and Ferrari to win Le Mans in 1966. Adam portrays race car driver, Lloyd Ruby. Adam is now co-starring in the Netflix series, "The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell,"-portraying the befuddled, but kindhearted, serial-killing boyfriend of McConnell. Part cooking show, part sitcom in the vein of the Addams Family and the Muppet Show set inside the enchanted home of Christine McConnell. Other recent credits include: "Christmas Harmony," starring Chandra Wilson and Kelley Jakle; "A Neighbor's Deception," (a Lifetime original); and CBS's NCIS appearing as Tall Tony. Other credits: NBC's "Days of our Lives"; as well as a slew of Christmas romantic comedies for Hallmark; Jenny Garth's husband in the ABC sitcom, "Mystery Girls", and his long-running portrayal of Scott Chandler in ABC's "All My Children." While filming the psychological thriller, "Would You Rather," he accepted the award for Best Feature Film at the St. Tropez International Film Festival for "The Preacher's Daughter." Adam was born in Dundee on the East Coast of Scotland and grew up watching his big Sister and Mother on the amateur stage. He always, from a young age, wanted to take part. This was not to be. Instead he played sports including football, athletics, volleyball and basketball, the latter he played at National League level. Time passed and Adam joined the Police when he was 23. This was a job he enjoyed until the age of 29. At 27 he realized Acting is where his passion lay. Within 2 years he had been cast in numerous stage plays at amateur/semi professional level. He then auditioned for drama schools and at the age of 30 started at the RSAMD (Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, now known as the RCS, Royal Conservertoire of Scotland) Since graduating in 2010 Adam has worked regularly on Stage and TV. He is now working on a TV script based on his 7 years experience in the Police which has been greeted with excitement by a well known production company who are taking it to television channels. A stage version has also been completed.
