A graduate from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA) with a Masters Distinction in Performing Arts, Ashton is a Canadian born actor residing in the United Kingdom. Since graduating he has worked extensively in theatre, film and television. He has starred in several short films, several of which have been multiple award winners on the festival circuit. Her recent work includes Directing, Producing, and co-writing, two short films "Red Flag" and "Basic Witches", the former of which premiered at the Midwest Film Festival. She is also the Creator, Producer and co-writer of the Media Literacy series "Miss Information" which was produced by Definitely Real as part of the world's first Alternate Reality Cinema project "Dared My Best Friend". Additionally "Miss Information" was featured by the United Nations for International Media Literacy week.
