Titled 'Honour' the film is based with the backdrop of the domestic violence and dowry death cases in Melbourne and is being produced by Jannine Barnes (Downriver - Toronto Film Festival). He is production (October 2018) of his feature length Australian documentary Bollywood Downunder with an international aka Global Bollywood. In 2011 Anupam launched the Australian Film Initiative to market and promote Australian screen culture in non-traditional markets, resulting in India's first annual Australian Film Festival with support from Hugh Jackman in 2011, a Baz Luhrmann retrospective in 2012/2013, and Phillip Noyce retrospective in 14-15.
