Tiffany Tenille
Tiffany Tenille is an actress, writer, and first-time filmmaker that delights in seemingly idyllic worlds with an undercurrent of darkness. Her work often reflects the redemptive coming of age journey of young women on the cusp of mental collapse, explored in her latest project, Albion Rose. A feature-length screenplay recently work-shopped in the Director's collab at Sundance and a short film adaptation awarded The Future Of Film Is Female post-production grant. Originally from Chicago, Tenille holds her BFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. Jezebel, her feature film debut in the title role was acquired by Ava DuVernay's distribution arm, Array following high acclaim at SXSW and is streaming on Netflix. As a theatre artist, Tenille was last seen in the West Coast premiere of Jazz based on the book by Toni Morrison and will next appear in a National Google commercial helmed by Little Miss Sunshine's directing duo Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton. As the proud founder of her newly minted production banner Petticoat, Tenille is fiercely committed to illuminating the emotional complexities of womanhood and celebrating the delicacy of Black women.
