Thiago Ventura
Born and raised in Taboão da Serra, Thiago Ventura started his artistic career in 2010, when he quit his job as a banker to dedicate himself to the life of a comedian. He participated in comedy contests on television shows, but gained more notoriety when he started telling stories of his own childhood in his shows and in videos on the internet. With his irreverent personality, he stood out in the comedy scene with his "da hood" style and for making fun of everyday matters and experiences in the periphery, enabling thousands of people who had never been in the theater to identify themselves and laugh. His first solo show was "Isso é Tudo Que Eu Tenho" and he has not stopped since, taking his shows on tours throughout Brazil and the world. In 2019, he was part of a major Netflix international comedy project, the stand-up comedy special "Comedians of the World". In the same year, he was the first stand-up comedian to win the Humor Award conceived by Fábio Porchat in the Best Text category with his solo show "Só Agradece". Also in 2019, his show "Pokas" was recorded at Teatro Liberdade, in São Paulo, and in 2020 began to be shown on Netflix. It is part of the cast of groups: '4 Amigos', 'Comédia ao Vivo' and 'A Culpa é do Cabral', a comedy TV show aired by Comedy Central Brasil. In 2021 he participated in the reality show "LOL: Last One Laughing Brazil", on Amazon Prime Video.
