Teresa Jolie
Teresa Jolie, born Teresa Jolie de la Garza, is a Latina female director. She was born in the Mexican-American border town of Brownsville, TX. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from St. Edward's University and began her career as a photographer and graphic artist. Having an eye for composition, a natural ability to story-tell through images and a love for movies, she transitioned into film beginning with directing music videos.
She's worked with multiple Grammy-Award winning artists and well-known actors. She was granted permission by Frank Miller & Robert Rodriguez to direct a side story based on a Sin City character, which was selected for various film festivals in the U.S., and later directed a music video that included Robert Rodriguez as a cameo actor and guest guitarist.
She is working on multiple film projects; directing, writing and producing. In 2019 she began her own production company, Rebel Rebel Productions.
