Nick Farr
Born in Yorkshire, England, 1961. Trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, London. Worked mainly in theatre for twenty years in the West End and touring the UK, also directing theatre in USA, Australia, Scandinavia and Europe. Relocated to Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2000, and worked with and for Ken Loach, Dexter Fletcher, Kate Dickie and Martin Compston. Nick managed representation for clients with Hunwick Hughes (until 2017) and was creative director for Kickabout Films (2010). Highly regarded as a theatre coach for the Scottish Drama Training Network (2016) and also as a director, lyricist and writer in musical theatre. In 2020 Nick became Creative Director and partner in Lock In Films based in Stoke-on-Trent, England, and London, England.
