Born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Bakersfield, CA, Nicholas Maggio now lives in Los Angeles. His directorial debut, Mob Land (2023), is an homage to the classic American Neo-Noir genre. He has cited hardcore music, loud cars, Southern gothic, and growing up in the grit of 90s independent cinema as the driving inspirations for his work.
