Lex Levy
A fun witty smartypants, Lex could be your friendly artist vagabond or dark-humored sarcastic hacker. She might sell drugs and dispense wisdom - or does she sell wisdom and dispense drugs?
Conservatory trained at Maggie Flanigan Studio, Lex became a mainstay in the NYC indie theater scene, as an original cast member of the long-running, late-night soap opera for the stage, It's Getting Tired, Mildred, playing the role of Justine monthly for five years! Along with her castmates, in The Golfer, Lex was the winner of the 2016 New York Innovative Theater Awards for Best Ensemble.
Lex moved to Los Angeles, and her on-camera work can be seen in the films of many independent luminaries - including Linda Yellen's film Fluidity, now streaming
Collaboration, celebrating everyone's strengths, and amplifying marginalized voices are what drive her artistic pursuits on and off set.
At the onset of covid lockdown, Lex created and began hosting a virtual open mic called Signal to help all of the artists whose jobs were abruptly canceled. It has since blossomed into a Salon, attracting talent from all over the country, in multiple disciplines, and with varying levels of renown and holding space for new conversations and points of view.
