Lesette Maxwell
Lesette Maxwell is a Colombian-American filmmaker and actress, born on September 3, 1996. Lesette was nominated for Best Actress at the 2020 Film in Focus International Film Festival for her lead role in Popped Culture. Maxwell has studied film production with an emphasis in directing, as well as the history of international cinema. Since 2015, Lesette has been a screenwriting mentor for fifth graders in the Script to Stage program of Young Storytellers. In 2021, Lesette co-founded Book Club Casting, a boutique casting service, with Ashton Avila. When she's not working. Lesette loves spending time with her horses, and volunteering at animal rescues.
