Kostas Papagiannidis
Premise. Emotions. Relationships. Goals. Environments.
A student of the PERGE, the Milne Studio interpretive method, Toronto-born actor Kostas Papagiannidis' style is rooted in reality. He obtains inspiration from actual people in his life, while drawing upon his own lived experiences.
Whether performing as a calculating court official, a burgeoning business mogul or the criminal with a conscience, there are few characters Kostas can't relate to - or embody.
But perhaps his most unique on-screen skill? Adaptability. His last film had a major rewrite in the script. He learned it in minutes.
Beyond his proven training in film and television, Kostas attributes this aptitude in part to his Greek heritage. As his parents George and Pitsa Papagiannidis used to remind him, ancient Greek performers typically played a large number of different roles in a single production.
Kostas is a proud member of ACTRA Toronto, and he's currently campaigning for dramatic roles in family and crime sagas.
