Joseph Claude Dubois
Joseph Claude Dubois' passion for acting goes back to childhood. He was born November 2, 1970, in a small mining town in Northern Ontario. His first child was born when Joseph was 21 years old. Taking on the responsibilities of fatherhood didn't stamp out his desire to act. Now, 2 children later and a lifetime of experience under his belt, Joseph is fueling his dream to be in front of an audience. He's completed LB Acting classes and has worked with MAS Acting Studios to hone improv and audition techniques. Joseph is a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television, and Radio Artists (ACTRA) and the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE 873). Joseph is a versatile actor with a ruggedly handsome appearance. He's built a reputation for being a strong man who can deal with difficult situations and is brave enough to take risks. That being said, Joseph also has the capacity for taking on roles that allow him to show a softer side. He folds life experiences of being a dad with working in the nickel mines, driving tractor trailers and time on a trapline to portray diverse characters in both short and feature productions. Joseph has appeared in several film and television productions including Beezlebuds (a Twisted Wizards short), Tainted (where he played the character Casmir), and The Final Ride (a Rheel Phobia production in which he played The Sheriff).
