Jadiel Dowlin

Jadiel Dowlin Lewis was named Playback's 10 to Watch 2021. As an actor starring for Nickelodeon, Amazon Prime, PBS Kids, and Netflix, sparked a passion to create content that's irresistible B.A.I.T. (Bold, Authentic, Illuminating, Tasteful), while reflecting his Black Latino culture. His YA action series, Zombra: Ghoul Detective, is in development with Sinking Ship Ent. and Nelvana, Corus Ent.'s YTV. He's written for Amazon Prime, Cartoon Network, Shaftesbury, consulted for CBC/Hulu, and produced short films. He's an Emmy nominee, awarded Toronto Metropolitan University's "full ride" Scholarship (majored in Philosophy & Film Studies); Hollywood Reporter: "One of Canada's Rising Stars Impacting Hollywood"; and received the 2020 Youth Media Alliance grant for blossoming creators. He leads inclusive initiatives as the first Youth on the YMA's Board of Directors.
