Heather Ross
Emmy winning director & producer Heather Ross spent much of her childhood in film classes and edit rooms, watching her film student mother at work. Her first feature documentary, "Girls on the Wall", played on PBS, winning an Emmy after a festival run garnering multiple awards. She has directed and produced programs for HBO, NBC, Fox, Discovery, A&E and more, including many episodes of the Emmy nominated doc series "Who Do You Think You Are?". Most recently, Heather directed the "It Got Better" short documentary series starring Jane Lynch, George Takei and others, for Dan Savage's It Gets Better campaign. She is currently directing a feature documentary about the infamous comedy guru Del Close.
