Glenn Lund
Glenn Lund is a founder/co-owner of the LA based production company Viking Brothers Entertainment that he runs together with actor Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski, American Gods). He is a graduate from Stockholm University of the Arts' producing program and UCLA's MFA Producers Program and is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (AMPAS) and the Producers Guild of America (PGA).
His first TV-series "Swedish Dicks", was pickup by Viaplay in Scandinavia and Pop TV (Schitt's Creek) in the US. In 2017, it was nominated for Best Comedy Series at the Swedish Emmy Awards (TV Kristallen). Lionsgate licensed worldwide distribution distribution rights and sold it to 30+ countries including Germany, France, Italy, Australia and the UK. In 2020 it was picked up by Universal's new streaming service Peacock TV.
He has been an independent producer since 2006 when he produced his first feature film "The Blueberry War". He has produced or executive produced a number of award-winning independent films all over the world including "Bekas" shot in Iraq, "Quan" in Vietnam; and 4 Guldbagge-award winner "Aniara" in Sweden, a sci-fi epic that premiered in Toronto Film Festival in 2019.
