Gizelle Basiri

Gizelle Basiri is a multiple award winning Australian actress , model and public personality of Persian background. Born in Iran to a family who were already in the spotlight, she has been on stage and in front of the camera from childhood. Having worked alongside well-known directors and actors in Australian TV, Hollywood and Bollywood, she has established a professional and unique identity with her range of talents. Some of her training credits include: Screen Actors Australia, Stella Adler Los Angeles, Courtyard Playhouse Dubai, and The Film & International School Melbourne. Her roles in Bollywood music videos for well known music channel "T-series" and MTV resulted in her winning the "Best Actress in Music Video" at the International Film and Entertainment Festival Australia, followed by another award for "Best Actress" at the Dubai Film Festival for her role in a dark-thriller short film. She then became well known for her personality on MTV and Endemol Shine's "Love Island Bollywood" (also known as "Love School"), making it to the semi-finale.
