Gisela Adisa

Gisela Adisa is an American actress born of Caribbean and West African immigrants. She played Sandra in the U.S. Grand Jury Prize: Dramatic award winner, 'Nanny', which premiered at Sundance '22. She also played the lead in the award winning film, 'Shield'. Upcoming projects include working with Mario Van Peebles on the Starz Network hit, 'Power Book III: Raising Kanan,' a role on the HBO Max 'Pretty Little Liars' reboot, as well as a role in the upcoming Netflix heist series, 'Jigsaw.' She will voice a recurring character in a yet-to-be-released animated series by Dreamworks. Gisela has performed on Broadway and at several critically acclaimed regional theaters, such as the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles and Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Gisela enjoys volunteering for organizations tied to the arts, most notably Broadway Inspirational Voices, the non-profit organization which received Tony Award Honors for Excellence.
