Gia Mora
Gia Mora is a multi-faceted writer, performer, and producer. She shot lead roles in two upcoming features directed by Cannes-award winner Shahab Hosseini, and in 2021 she released her music video It's Gonna Be Fine (2021). In 2022, she will executive produce the science docu-series "I Am A Scientist" with Emmy award-winning producer/director Michael Simon.
In addition to her work as a writer covering vegan and low-impact living, Gia co-wrote "MOMs," a comedy pilot written with SCIRENS, which was a semi-finalist in the 2018 NY Television Festival Scripts Contest. Together they also released a season of "Scirens Show (2020)" in 2020. In 2019, "Anchors Away (2019)", the comedy pilot Gia co-wrote, produced, and starred in with Tara Jean O'Brien screened at the Hollywood Reel Independent and Lift-Off Film Festivals.
A versatile vocalist and instrumentalist, Gia's critically acclaimed original musical comedy "Einstein's Girl" played to sold-out houses on both coasts. She's also written music for film and for Minnesota Public Radio. She also voices characters and occasionally writes and performs music on the podcast "Build for Tomorrow."
