Geoffrey Goldstein
"The most powerful person in the world is the storyteller" ~ Steve Jobs
Having forged a business career as founder/CEO of three successful companies: retail chain Fashion Wide Shoes (based in AZ and NV); Liquid X Energy Drink with worldwide distribution; and Bottom Line Solutions, consulting fortune 500 companies, Geoffrey reinvented himself as a screenwriter. He soon optioned 3 scripts (Murphy's Gift, Alone in the Light, and Mac and Cheese) to Prelude Pictures' producer Mark Koch (Lost in Space, Black Dog, etc.). Later, inspired by a conversation with an "angel", Cowboy: The Legend of Billy Tate was born. He now has a batch of other completed screenplays in various stages of development and this spring one of his creations, Lady Justice, will be shooting a TV pilot.
He is committed to creating projects featuring lead roles and stories that include real disabled actors and filmmakers. His first musical stage play is in development. A romantic comedy entitled "A Paralyzing Mistake" was written for and features a quadriplegic actor in the lead role. He is currently developing a reality show called The Underdog featuring Jeffrey Marshall (The Last Freak Show, Rock-N-Roller) traveling the world showcasing amazing disabled artists, musicians, actors, scholars, and business people. God willing, shooting starts this summer.
