Darian Barnes
Darian Barnes is a screenwriter, graphic novelist, chef, Greek mythologist, coach, and NFL star, known as much for his charming personality and warm smile on screen as he is for his renaissance qualities.
Darian began studying compendiums of Greek mythology at an early age, and this fascination with the classic archetypes of storytelling continued through his academic career where he studied world mythology and writing at Rutgers and Hampton Universities.
In his career as a professional athlete, he played fullback position in American football, earning him a position in the National Football League (NFL), first with the New York Giants, and eventually with the Tampa Bay Buckaneers, where he went on to become a Superbowl XXXVII champion.
He's also an avid cook, and has competed in numerous seasons on the Food Network's Worst Cooks in America.
Darian's versatility and passion for storytelling is evident in his writing which often tells the hero's journey from a unique vantage point, drawing inspiration from mythology and even mathematics. His written works create entire universes of characters that blend transhumanism with surreal symbolism.
He is a husband, writer, and father of four.
